The Dirtiest Things that Need an Office Cleaning
Germs can spread fast throughout an office. Regular office cleaning can help to reduce the spread of these germs, but sometimes certain things are not paid attention as they should be.
The Kitchen
The kitchen is one of the most used areas by all in an office and believe it or not, is dirtier than even the bathroom. Lots of object get used by almost everyone in the office.
The coffee pot is one that is used by many people and even multiple times throughout the day. This means that not only is it used in the morning, but after employees are at their desk and other places in the office.
Printers and Copiers
Not everyone has their own printer or copier. This means that it can be used by the whole office on any particular day. These objects can spread germs quickly and need to be paid attention to during an office cleaning.
Shared Furniture
This can include waiting rooms, break rooms and even conference rooms that are used by all and not often paid attention to during cleaning. Armrests and table tops are often touched during use.
Buttons and Handles
Normally we think of bathroom handles when we think about germ spreading. Most of the time entry ways have automatic opening features, but elevators do not and are touched by everyone that uses it.
Blinds and Windowsills
This is one of the things most common passed up because it does not need to be cleaned on a daily basis. This is the main reason why it should be added to the list maybe every other week or every three weeks, otherwise they will never be cleaned until noticeably dirty.
These are just some of the things that need to be paid attention to during your regular office cleaning. Generally the best solution is to hire a professional cleaning crew for the job. They are well versed in what types of machinery, chemicals and techniques to implement to keep a safe and clean workplace. We only use eco-friendly and anti-allergen products on all of our jobs.
